Bantam with a dame...I wish I could get T-bone steak for 50-65 cents.... :o

Very late to the party here but it's a bracket for a British Radio battery box. Certain British airborne jeeps had this mod, one on each wing.

The man in the fetching kilt is Captain James Graeme Ogilivie of the Glider Pilot Regiment. He was killed at Arnhem and is now buried in Rhenen Cemetary in the Netherlands.
