Super cool photo!
A jeep ride if you buy a bond :D !
I'd be throwing down for a bond for sure!

Looks like they were saving fuel by including everyone for the ride at once. :o

I don't identify the MV on which the Sicilian Dame is sitting. Not a Jeep for sure :) !
A very dusty 2 1/2 ton GMC?
Date: August 1943, Italy campaign, Sicilia.

After a show in the HMS FORMIDABLE, the Christmas Party were driven back to their hotel in the only Jeep in the British Navy !

As Zeph wrote, the fuel was either extremely rare or expensive to embark so many people and Dames in one jeep  !
If there was only one Navy Jeep at the time, that explains the situation.
It was a unique opportunity to test such an attractive vehicle.

January 1943. Solid rubber hood blocks and a non-scalloped rear axle? Could the jeep be dated by those features?

Ive seen a couple in dark blue at shows Yves. Unless it was a restorers error.

The photo caption mentions "the only jeep in the Royal Navy".
Perhaps it was the 1st jeep transferred from the US Navy?

A celebrity near her Jeep : Marguerite Higgins, war correspondent.
She started her job during WWII @ 23 years old (N-Y Herald Tribune), and she covered also the Korean war.

Keep the pics coming. Thanks for sharing. The one with the War Correspondent appears to be post WW2 but probably before Korea. The cars in the background are late 1940's models.
