Not quite sure about this picture from my collection but would love to know where it was taken

The kids look really happy, although the owner of the Jeep does not appear to be
Trying to work out the hood markings
The home made exhaust crossing the top of rear wheel is interesting

Is this an Australian Jeep?

Spyder, absolutely fantastic photos, thanks for posting. Particularly enjoyed the" nose art"" on the jeeps and aircraft. I love this subject. :D :D
