Brandon that's the first photo I've seen of your jeep! That is sweet! Are you going to bring it up to the Papago Show this year. It's going to be at the Peoria Sports Complex in Peoria this year.

Everybody great pics! Keep them coming! It's great to see the vehicles connected to the screen names. :D

I had to sell the WLA to purchase the halftrack, this was taken at local car show that we both attended.

My 1944 MB, my only MV (and if my wife has her way, that’s how it’ll remain), at various places. This Jeep has been in Army Motors a few times since 2000. Here are a few of my favorite photos.

I spent a couple of days with the 2009 MVPA transcontinental convoy. A version of this shot made it into Army Motors.

Todd:

Nice GP! Any history? What are your plans for it (restoration, I assume).

I'm going back and forth on what to do. should i restore it or get it mechanically sound and leave it as is? I hate these kind of decisions!

My Sep 42 "script" GPW. She's an odd duck but my first.

At the Ft Hood rally this year. Man I really want to find a nice M2 to mount up rather than my M1919.

Hope you don't mind me playing around a bit with the photo of your nice GPW:

I've used a special program to turn the picture into a black and white image, keeping the 1940's feeling with crispness and contrast. It just doesn't do it with a desaturated color picture. It is bland and lacks sharpness and contrast.

I added a Signal Corps logo to it and added a grunge texture behind it. Presto! A 1940's feeling to the picture. Only one thing that gives it away slightly; the photo is taken with a wide angle lens, and they were not used back then...
