Enjoy!!!!
Where do you stop? Chrome rear view mirrors, hideous fender lights, ugly roll cage. I could go on and on.

I think this and some of the other criticism on this thread to be more than a bit harsh. There are plenty of completely 'bubba' Jeeps out there, particularly in the US, but this definitively isn't one of them. It looks to me to be a very clean and straight G503. The roll-over cage is just a few bolts, the mirrors about 5 minutes to replace. The wheels look horrid for sure, but to me not much worse than CJ single piece slotted wheels on an otherwise pure WW2 Jeep. A set of combats costs $ for sure, but there is no material damage to the Jeep for having M151 wheels at the moment. Lockout hubs, which seem to to epidemic in the US, constitute a far greater material crime, and in my (humble!) opinion are aesthetically as bad. As for the yellow colour, pretty authentic for a follow-me or other Jeep used on an airbase during the war.Schultzd wrote:Sorry, to each his own, but, this jeep has absolutely no appeal to me. A complete bubba jeep. Put it back to original and restore it's dignity.
