Yes! :)
The guy is so cool with that girl and her carbine above his head.
I guess he is totally sure that there are no ammos in that carbine.
He should remind her that sentence from the Marines instructors:
"Never point your weapon at anything you don't intend to shoot" :D

Dedicated to the Willys Overland jeep test drivers.
It was a group of roughly 50 persons with many women and also very young veterans.
One of them was a young veteran badly wounded in Guadalcanal.
Each test driver had to test about 15-18 jeep per day.
They were the first to take the wheel and they had to pickup the jeep directly on the production line and drive the jeep during 5 miles in Toledo West, by all weather, snowy, windy, rainy.

@gerrykan : You have a bionic eye with integrated zoom :) !
Correct.
With about 50 test drivers and 15-18 jeep per man/day, there were likely many jeeps in the streets !

Looks like a black out marker light. Looks like they moved it from the grill and put it on the fender instead.

Good chance it is VE day in England. Three people are holding small flags. In the background are hanging British, American and French flags. On the jeep are American and British sailors and soldiers, as well as women in uniform. Very interesting. Is this a gray US Navy GPW?

Yes the marker light has been moved to the fender as in the UK the width of the vehicle must be indicated at night hence "side" lights.

Yes, thanks for the remark about the marker moved on fenders.
But my question was related to the "thing" attached to the fender and close to the girl right leg .The girl sitting on the jeep cowl.
