What markings belong on a WWII Hand cart?

Post by Andy Cole » Thu Mar 16, 2023 4:27 am

I have recently completed the restoration of an M3A4 hand cart. I plan to use it for WWII living history displays mostly.
I am not ruling out battle reenactments, but that is not likely.

Right now it is just green. What, if any, markings would adorn such a cart?
a star?
unit number?
would they get vehicle numbers like a jeep or or other trailer?

detailed descriptions and photos desired.

Thanks so much!

This 'H" marking on the bottom was the only marking of any kind I found on mine.
