Jerald Sulky Co. WWII Litter Cart on exhibit at the Grout Museum

Post by creinemann » Thu Oct 11, 2018 8:17 am

Hi all,
Just wanted to share a few pictures of my Jerald Sulky Co. WWII Litter Cart on exhibit at the Grout Museum. I loaned the piece to the museum for an exhibit they are having at the museum in Waterloo Iowa. I restored it several years ago.

Here's a link to a WWI wheeled litter display

Too big to repost, the NARA files have all sorts of interesting history of gear in them.

Curious is the museums sign above, it dances around the design and pneumatic tires like it was their concept and rare, but clearly they had them back in WWI.

That’s the second one I have seen. Robin picked one up that I should have bought at Petaluma a few years back. The guy was never in his booth to get it
