M38A1 Radiator

Post by m-11 » Tue Jul 20, 2021 1:31 pm

My radiator is shot and re coring is not cost effective at this time. So if anyone has a good useable take out, I'd be interested.

You can get a 3 core aluminum replacement for $100 or so. Not totally correct but it will work until you get a real one.

Everything I’ve seen so far has been $300 and up. Do you have a vendor in mind?

I got one off eBay last year. Seems to be plenty on there. Search for Willys cj3 radiator; the sellers are not good at jeep models. $125 with free shipping is the norm for a 3 row.

Make sure you get one that mounts on the grill/shroud; not one for WW2 through Cj2A and M38 which mounts on the front cross member. Easy to tell in the pictures.
