Master data backing plate

Post by chucks_toy » Mon Sep 24, 2018 2:12 pm

I am looking for a good used plate that all the data plates are riveted to, not a new reproduction, just a good usable plate. The previous owner took all the brass data plates and mounted the individually all over the dash. Any help is appreciated.

I do not have a plate but I purchased a reproduction and really cannot tell the difference. I compared the reproduction to an existing plate I have and it is exact. I originally purchased a used one and you risk one rivet hole being enlarged from drilling out the old rivets and you have a loose plate. I threw it in the trash. John

Is the following what you're looking for?
Despite the coating that's on it, the backing plate is actually in good shape.
No extra holes and the data plates are all original.

That looks like it, but i just need the big plate that the smaller plates are attached to.
