Re: WTB M38 frame battery tray
I looked for along time. They are out there. One day an NOS one showed up on epay. I hung in on the bidding until it started getting into crazy money. I would have expected given the need someone would have reproduced one by now. They are always cut out so bubba can put a small block v8 in there. Since then I bought whats left of a M38 with the battery try intact! Before that my plan was to use a CJ tray and cut it down so the metal battery box would fit.

The only way you will find one is to buy a frame that hasn't had it cut off already.

Re: WTB M38 frame battery tray
The M38 battery box fits perfectly on a CJ-2A battery tray. Only had to remove the little piece riveted to it that keeps the CJ battery from sliding rearwards.
