Location? Does the motor turn freely? Have you tried to run it?

Got any better pictures? What is the full GPW motor number? Looks to be early.
Is casting number GPW6015
Does it turn 2 full turns?
Any pictures of the area under the distributor, looking for cracks,
Picture of oil on end of dipstick.
You interested in shipping?

OK,, its an willys type MB engine with a ford serial number, Do you have a better picture of the serial number and what it is, its on the oval pad behind oil filter. I see GPW 537, sand it off with fine paper, see if any other numbers on there, I see a casting date of 11-26? clean that paint off too if you can.

The mfg of willys engines suplied them to ford early in the war and later as needed. An original stamped gpw number on the oval behind the water pump was installen in that ford numbered jeep.

Re: Pe95 generator with gpw motor for sale
I have a Wilson block with all Ford internal and external parts. . No serial number was assigned that I could find but machining date was 6-2-42. Everything on the unit when torn down for rebuild was Ford except the main bearing caps. Engine was found in a Hobart welder and apparently saw little use. Cleaned up and checked bores etc. and didn't even have to bore it out. Engine is standard. Had to replace 2 original Ford exhaust valve cuz stems were a bit corroded.
