SF10G 1950 Hobart Genset

Post by Adam » Mon Feb 17, 2020 2:09 pm

What a mess, lots of extra stuff to break. Looks like some kind of a gasoline engine block heater, Oil cooler or heater, Radio noise dist. suppression. Tag says Diamond Ordinance fuze laboratories. Its stuck. Got what looks to be a oil can holder like the ww2 jeep has.
Asbestos wrapped exhaust pipe.

Anybody got one, need parts, want the whole thing?

Started working on this, Generator section windings are melted, insulation shellac and copper material have the rotor stuck to the stator, Gonna try to pull the stator off.
Anybody ever see one of these?

Do you still have this? I'm looking for a fuel tank cap for a Hobart welder. I think this is the same type.
