Hey Adam, it's a little bit out of your way but at the Ft. Abercrombie museum in Kodiak, Alaska there is a Navy N-15 genset sitting as a static display in the old generator house on the museum grounds. They probably won't sell it but I was pleasantly surprised to see the Navy ID plate on this unit identifying it as an N-15 genuine Navy unit.

D&L Bensinger has some Willys powered generators pictured on his website and there are two PU-58s shown, too pricey IMHO, especially in their condition.

They are low mileage,
Anyway, these low hour gensets aren't always what they seem. I have paperwork someplace, from a dealer back in the 50's or 60's that say all their used military gensets have their oil pans pulled and cleaned, hour meters changed and engines cleaned up and painted. Soooo that 4 hour genset may not really be 4 hours total. pull the oil pan, and pull a rod and main bearing and estimate how much time is on that engine.
Not saying there is anything wrong with DB's sets, he;s a dealer and they are dealer priced. There is overhead and transportation costs in the,. If you need an engine, and dont have the resources or time to chase one down and bring it home, well there they are. Last genset engine I saw, was a take out engine, being sold at a show by a PA jeep delaer was way over DB's price.

I am curious if they are MB or post war engines in them, that would make a big difference as to their value.

He's got more than those in the pictures. He used to have a building full of engines years back, although driving by a month or 2 ago, looks like he downsized a little.
