you can see the back of the air filter,,, flat plate so not a late late war or postwar part, also big voltage regulator.

1945, never heard of that model and have never seen one.

The configuration resembles the 6cyl Chrysler driven Hobart units. Looks like the same style (albeit shorter in length) fuel tank, side doors and panel hooks to hold the doors open. I'm curious to see the fuel tank filler? Wonder if it would fit my Hobart.

I'll get some pics of it, fuel tank looks to be a replacement, too bright and shiny,, mounted to the lid with a hole through it for the lifting eye bolt. definetly cutom.

Mounted to the underside of the top with a hole for the lifting eye is exactly how the larger Hobart ones are done. But mine is certainly not bright and shiny!
