state department restrictions for export

Discussion of Local, State, and Federal issues regarding MV Legislation, MV use restrictions, MV registration refusals, etc. As these issues may ultimately affect other jurisdictions, information and education of all MV owners is crucial for the future ownership and use of our MVs.
This is not a board for Political discussion.
This is not a Q&A Forum on how to title or register a MV.

state department restrictions for export

Post by merlin1650 » Tue Apr 27, 2010 6:17 pm

Does anyone here have any experience shipping parts outside the U.S.?
I only ask because these antique vehicle parts were government property at one time, and I don't know how that affects it.
If anyone could point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it.

Thanks,
Billy

Billy,
Sorry that I can offer you no help on this matter. But if you've not yet done so, you might also pose this question on the Steel Soldiers forum. There are a lot of dealers and sellers that frequent that board, and you might find your answer.

Speaking as someone who has imported heaps of parts in from the States, predominately.... jeep parts,..... there are no restrictions on that, but as you don't state what parts, it's difficult to say what may effect you and the parts you have.
