Leece-Neville 100 amp regulator & cable for trade

Post by Kendall » Sun Sep 26, 2021 3:54 pm

Hi,
I have a used 24v 100 amp Leece-Neville regulator and 4 foot cable for trade for the 25 amp regulator and cable for the M38/A1. It can be the older bread-box style regulator. Let me know if you have any questions. I don't know if this was the style of regulator used in the M38A1s, co please correct me if I am in the wrong forum. The operational status of this unit is unknown.
Thanks,
Kendall

When you say, 4 foot cable, would this be a VR and the long cable that would be used on an M170 ambulance or USMC radio jeep? The VR on those was mounted on the drivers side firewall and needed the long cable run along the top of the firewall from the generator to the VR. The M38 and A1 had the VR mounted with a splash shield on two brackets from the frame under the oil batch air cleaner and used about an 18" cable to go from the generator to the VR.

Is this the set up you are looking to trade?

Yes, the VR and cable you described are what I am looking to trade for.

Here is what I got. We can trade shipping addresses and you can mail yours to me and I will mail this to you. Just guessing, but a little zinc oxide primer showing on this one. Maybe off a Mighty Mite? I have two cables, both exactly the same, missing the brittle rubber outer coating, but wires themselves are unbroken and all pins are good. Presume yours is the same.
