Is is possible and not too complicated to remove the clutch cable from the throw out bearing yoke with the engine and transmission in the jeep?
I need to adjust my clutch and would like to take the cable out, wire brush the threads apply anti seize and reinstall.
Thanks

Re: Clutch Cable Removal
The ball end just hooks into a little groove and socket in the small end of the clutch fork. get the boot loose first and slide it back. Push the cable in a bit and move it to the left and pull it out.
Putting it back in can be trickier as you cant see in there very well. You can also dislodge the clutch fork and have it fall out of position, I know because I just went through this.
The good news is you can take up the floor board over the transmission and take the inspection cover off of the bell housing, to retrieve and reset the clutch fork. Also allows light into that area and you can see what you are doing reconnection the cable.
