Marine Corps Jeep diff fluid

Post by Spec4Don » Mon Mar 21, 2022 7:28 pm

I have 1964 Marine corps M38A1, I’ve looked through the manual ( Army TM) and it calls for GO 90 in the diffs, but the the rear diff is positrac and front is limited slip. Do I need to use a different oil or a friction additive?

Thanks Don G.

Where would one find an aftermarket parts manual?

they were both power locks front and rear....which would use 90wt. with a friction modifier
