Hi Jeff,
I purchased an overdrive for my M38a1 from Herm, very good to deal with and very knowledgable.

Cheers

A friend of mine just purchased winch parts from Herm and he was satisfied with the service.

I don’t think I've ever heard a bad thing about Herm’s work. Perhaps I just wasn’t listening.

My direct interaction with him is somewhat mixed. I haven’t yet installed what he delivered but it looks to me like perfection and I consider the price reasonable. The downside is probably a side effect of his popularity. He estimated it would be shipped in a week. It was actually months.

Will I use him again ? If I’m not in a hurry, absolutely! If I am in a hurry, then maybe.
