Howdy all,
I'm getting close to putting the seats back in my M38A1, and I'm curious if anyone can recommend a good source for cushion kits for front and back, including cushions and canvas. Thanks!

go to ebay and type in "M38 seats" and one vendor always seems to have NOS or good used seats with original springs. The early s springs are a hard to find but the coil type are out there. John

Re: Looking for seat cushion kits
Hello,
Great info !!
The guy on Ebay with the NOS spring cushions, told me he only has complete rear seat cushions.
Early and late style,
I ordered the early type S springs, and the package was dated 1967.
I bought a set for the rear seat on my M38A1.
He no longer has any front seat ones.
There are front bottom springs only listed on Ebay.
I haven't seen any front upper springs listed however.
Good luck in your quest !
Weebee Webbing is highly recommended, and I have a 42 GPW top on order from him ... D Pizz.
I can hardly wait to get it , then order one for my new M38A1 from him, next.
My neighbor ordered a jeep trailer tarp from him, and says they are perfect !
I looked at it, and I agree.
Will have to get one of them too
Best Regards,
Ray

Re: Looking for seat cushion kits
My girlfriend makes seat cushions all the time here for people this is her full time job at this and she has made all of our stuff here we restore, just throwing it out there and all she would need is the pattern of the seat you want done and she can get this time in a timely manner here. She has a industrial sewing machine and she does the canvas side of this. No springs or cushions. She sews for a living and again no big deal if you do not want to use her services here, take care and many blessings to you here.

Walcks jeep has new reproduction front seat springs ( back and bottom) for cj2a and you can get the water resistant synthetic horse hair padding material at (online fabric store.net)
I purchased the springs and they are very nice, padding also good stuff.
