Re: ww2 vehicles part 1
Hi yhhe2003,
I took a very deep breath and spent the last couple of days / evenings trawling through the first 150 pages of this thread.
Great pictures, many familiar and not so familiar faces and vehicles including many that I have not seen before, BUT.......
....there is always something to moan about, and here goes:
- a good many pictures are posted up to 2, 3, 4 or more times and I only need to see Brad Pitt's ugly face once
- around page 100 it gets worse: many pictures without a vehicle in sight, other wars appear on the scene, weathered models, prints and museum displays.
- I personally get fed up with all the heroic looking Huns, so the speed of the scrolling gets up and I miss the really-interesting-not-seen-before-rare-item.
Finally: the thread is called: "ww2 vehicles part 1", which is in my opinion undermined by the things that I gripe about.
Not wanting to end on the negative: great work posting these photo's and I hope you will continue. (with consideration to my remarks, off course
)
Please try to add some information about the photo's as location and things shown.

Re: ww2 vehicles part 1
Please don't "kill the goose that lays the golden eggs" by putting restrictions on otherwise pretty cool pics from the sandbox and Korea or WWI and those that do not actually SHOW a "ww2" vehicle. I like the pics of the lie of soldiers on both sides and how they dealt with weather, POWs, the daily grind of movement, trying to get some sleep, food prep, living in foxholes, etc. While some are staged/coerced by Signal Corp or the German equivalent, many are the personal photos of soldiers that are not staged.
I find it ALL fascinating and if you have a question, repost the pic and your question and perhaps someone can answer your query.
