I mention this because of all the M38A1 & M37 imagery in this thread. Just watched one of those horrible Elvis Presley movies "Kiss'n Cousins". Lots of scenes with M38A1s and an M37. Movie came out in 1964 when these vehicles were still in service so it was kind of nice to see these machines in use when they were new.... While the movie itself is pretty bad (awful) all of the scenes with with the two MVs sort of make it worth it...

32ft/sec^2 is the acceleration. Assuming a terminal velocity of about 125mph, that would be about 183ft/second at impact!😬
