Hello, I have a leak at the transfer case seal behind the emergency brake backing plate. Has anyone used 2 seals instead of installing a 'speedy sleeve"? I assume there is wear on the flange like the one on the axle I replaced. I will not know until I remove but I read an old post and someone mentioned just to install 2 of them. Any thoughts? Thanks, John

You need to remove and evaluate your yoke journal first; then decide.

Yeah, I’ve used both types in different locations. The speedi sleeve or the rubber sleeve with two ‘ribs.’ Both are great!
