Just finished some minor maintenance on the transfer case and lost an unknown amount of oil (probably less than 1/2 quart). Don't know how much to add to top it off. Heard that if you fill it until it starts to run out that is the proper amount. Can anyone confirm or deny this? Thanks. And why didn't they provide a dip stick?
