Same Book, Page 87, note the UCINITE Headight Switch. I gave Cuz the "Second Style "Bendix" headlight Switch.

Well, they probably were rebuildable back when...I gave a box full of broken switches to a forum member years ago and almost all had a broken rotor...could'nt find replacement parts anywhere....gota use that locking lever

You are right, the rotor is the weak link in the Bendix.
Also a top tip: Never remove the screw holding the lock lever on. If you just take off the other two it will go through the hole to mount the switch to the dash.
if you take the lock lever off and push in even a little on the shaft, a spring inside gets displaced and drops into where it jams the lock lever when you put the lever back on. Trying to put the lever back on is enough to push the shaft in enough for this to happen.
So only take the lock lever off or put it back on when the switch is disassembled!
