If someone could chime in, on the sector seal for a M38; the new seal I want to install for the sector is FLUSH, maybe a hair lower than the casing.
I have a picture of the one I took out and it appears to have been flush also but I am not sure what the Army did years and years ago. Is this correct, to be flush?? I tried pushing down further but it will not go with causing a distortion. I was reading some posts from the G503, maybe the seal in the Ross for the M38 does not go down as far. The casing is a TA122985 Ross

Your thoughts, Thanks, John
