Rebuilding stock M38 late model (4260) fuel and vacuum pump. Attempting to remove oil diaphragm pull rod oil seals. Book says to use a hook shaped tool after removing the metal from the previous staking. Done, but my gasket picks aren't sufficient to pull the seals out. Anyone have any recommendations for what has worked in the past?
Also, being a klutz, a small piece of metal has been removed [img][/https://www.dropbox.com/h?preview=20201203_113037.jpg]. Still have the piece. Is it possible to JB weld this back into place (even necessary?) or am I totally screwed?
