Those familiar with the M-38 will witness that ammeter needle movement is not very lively or dramatic after a few seconds of running time. It will display a slight charge and stay more or less in the center all day except for when headlights are on.

Ben Dover, you were dead on! Changed the funky condenser in the voltage regulator and the charging system came alive. Thanks for the help.
