I have found a very heavy double pulley 28 volt generator that I was told is for a 38a1 is there a photo on this message bord that I can make a comparision to see if it is indeed a correct genertor thanks

If Autolite, it will be Model GHA4802UT-25Amps or GHA4802BUT-25Amps

If DELCO, it will have MFR Part No, 1922304 anf will also be 25Amps. Pulleys will vary as these fit the whole line of 50's-60's 4X4 and 6X6 trucks. They all have same mounting dimension. Am not near a camera.

Thaks joel: It is a gha4804 25 amp so I believe its for the A1. I have no idea if its a working one or not but do not want to junk it if someone can use it. very heavy which means to cost to ship will be costly dave

I don't have reference to the GHA 4804, but will check an NOS 70's dated Prestolite on my shelf it may have your number. They were also installed on M-151 and the later multifuels, same dimension and spec.

Need info on plug abc on auto-lite 24v M38 gen. C@B show continuity but A does not. The gen puts out 32v at idle and 36v at speed. New NOS reg but same output voltage at battery, any ideas.
