Brake fluid

Post by chucks_toy » Sat Apr 22, 2023 4:19 am

I have a 1952 M38 that always had Silicone brake fluid in it. Any suggestions on where to get the old style military grade silicone brake fluid?

I got a two gallon jug of it at a DRMO sale many years ago; it's blue, but I know of no other place to get it. It seems no different than what I get at Walmart. Except the color.

Did you add the Walmart brand directly to the purple product?

Yes. I figured silicone is silicone. It didn't do anything strange.

Harley Davidson branded silicon brake fluid is purple. Be forwarded though, it is not cheap!
