Thanks Rick
I guess I have the wrong top strap, as mine has nothing on the end. No loop just a cut off strap. This is why I'm always asking questions because the parts I get are not the same as what everyone else uses. This is about as simple of a job as there is and 3 days on it so far.
My electrical works now, but the wire numbers don't match 100%
Ordered a set of rubber boots for the shift levers and stuff, turns out those didn't work out. Only used one of them and not sure that fits right.
Ordered a brake line set, that didn't match 100%, wrong T and no way to mount on from right side suspension.
I have extra fuel lines from fuel line set.
Ordered complete exhaust system, No pipe to pipe clamps.
Sorry rant over

Re: 151 gas can ?
hello Rick
Well I found out I have the wrong Footman loops, and the top strap is mounted to the very top of the body behind gas can. That makes it long enough. The strap goes though that footman and then riveted together to form the loop (More wrong parts to confuse me).

Welcome to the world of vehicle restoration. It is pretty much like that for any vehicle you restore. Wrong parts, parts that don't fit, Parts you can't find. This is all part of the fun of restoring a vehicle. Those exhaust pipe clamps seem to be getting hard to find. Have you tried Red River? Or Front Line?67N20 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 21, 2020 5:07 amThanks Rick
