Red Ball at Gilbert

Post by Rickf » Mon Sep 04, 2023 7:24 am

Who is going to the Gilbert show? What will you be looking for? I will be there selling a bunch of M151 stuff but looking to see what people are interested in I am debating on bringing a complete fording kit and arctic heater kit. I brought them last year and there was no interest so I am not packing all of that stuff if nobody wants it. I will be bringing two pristine A2 gas tanks and one early A2/A1 tank, also pristine. A couple Holly carbs in like new condition. I will be in spot R5 back by the rest rooms.

I have the early tire irons and will have them with me. The jack and handle are the same throughout all the years as far as I know.

I'll be there. Debating if I'm bringing body panels or just going to hang out. My father in law has a nice M38 that I might trailer to the show.

I haven't committed yet. I've not decided if I'm taking parts or going to hang out. Hanging out is a lot less work.

I'll be set up where I have in the past - as you come through the gate, take a left and I'll be on the far corner. Rolling in early Friday morning.

I have a complete fording kit that I can bring if anybody asks about it. I also have an original Arctic heater still in the boxes. I am not going to bring these unless there is specific interest since they are very bulky and I do not want to load and unload just to have to load and unload all over again to bring them home. The arctic heater I could ship, the fording kit I would not even try to ship.

I had a gentleman from Toronto named Stephen talking to me at Gilbert about side curtains for a 151 and wanted me to contact him, he wrote down his number in my book to call but the problem is he forgot part of the number. If anyone knows him or if he sees this please contact me.
