Re: My evolution of my M998
Thanks Ted!!! Hearing that from you really means allot . You are among the best rebuilders and fabricators I monitor on the G. I'm doing it on a budget and keeping it "motorpool" standards. I drive it to work many times and I work on JBSA Lackand. The Security Forces at the gate kinda don't know what to check, they sometimes salute me lol. Its really funny.

ok a while back I was doing a welding task and I forgot to cover up my mirrors and they got weld splatter and burned the lens. So I'm looking for replacements. They are the square version anyone have a set? I just need the mirrors without brackets.

Re: My evolution of my M998
I finally ordered the floor directional vent and dash close out panel. Thanks to Jason for provider the supplier, MacMotors.
For the side A/C vent after cutting the hole I had a to anchor to the top screw of the windshield frame. For some reason it would line up with the middle screw from what I seen it should. Then the dash close out panel did not align correct with the brake pedal. It seemed to far to the left. I had to trim some of the plastics around the brake pedal in order for the panel to align with the front bottom part of the dash. If fact it makes it much easier to remove if I needed to. I read that this panel can be a pain in the ass to remove and replace for maintenance. So by trimming out the brake pedal area it just slide in and out.
I had to relocated my rear winch control plug from the side of the dash into the dash next to light switch gauge in order to get my side vent to route correctly. I also had to relocate my aux toggle switch that powers my gps, crash camera and external power above the winch plug next to the air cleaner gauge.
It turned out really nice and I've always wanted to add the close out panel but wasn't happy with the price but really got me motivated is the side A/C vent. I cant believe I didn't know about this so the heck with it I bought both and again tuned out nice.

Re: My evolution of my M998
Anyway i saw in one of your old posts a pic where you had a key board behind a monitor, is that the correct place? I can't find any info on this, or will those fit into keyboard slot on BFT tray.
Thanks

Re: My evolution of my M998
the key mounts into this housing assembly which mounts on the bottom edge of the monitor housing. Which allows the keyboard to slide out when in use or be stored.
There is not right or wrong way to place the key board it can be mounted loosely and slotted into the radio rack assemble here but it is just a static keyboard it serves no function.
However, I use this keyboard to use on my iPad in my office when I need to type a large project or writing out. It serves as a remove keyboard (MX Keys Mini – YR0084 by logi). Any blue tooth can work but I use this for my office and home computer because it can syne to up to three systems.
