I have plenty of the m1151 trays, hatches and slam hatch mechanisms.

If you use that turret tray, you need to raise the try up With the thick adapter...while it may work, your brush lengths will need to be trimmed. How did you bolt up the motor? Your bracket on this green motor is for m1114 and in order to use the motor, you generally have to use use the m1151 motor bracket.
Funny you ask, I made a sample bracket out of wood and transferred to flat steel to make the final version bracket. Im not expert on welding but it will hold.

I have a question on the turret system, can it operate just off vehicles batteries (power charging cables to batteries bottom of controller) or does it require power supplied to the top of the controller to battery power (turret batteries) cable at the same time?

The connection to the truck batteries is just to charge the turret batteries...

Yes, but will it supply power to run the system or does it require Power to the top connector to run the system. I’m getting both cables Friday but it’s just a question I have should I bother with connecting turret batteries or not can I just run the system with the power charging cables

I don’t use the battery’s from the truck, I remove the connector from the box, it’s only for charging the turret batteries.
Once the turret turns, it disconnects from the truck to truck batteries and runs direct from the batteries on turret.
I was told the truck battery setup causes all kind of issues.
You can’t rotate the turret when connected from below...

OK so I can use the power charging cables because I still need to build the battery box on the turret to run it constant but yes I did actually remove those two charging cables because I didn’t plan on using that connection plus I was always hitting my head when I climbed inside the turret with those darn cables but for the sake of testing it I put them back on

Same here, it’s just to obtrusive....but I never tried to power it on just the quick disconnect cable from the truck batteries.
I never installed it...just used the batteries on the turret.

that big bracket I already have its requires an additional spacer which I had to make to match to the turret gear. The one you have circled in red seems a bit to thin/small because I'm needing about 2" of spacing. See my wood template that I transferred into metal. That is the flat stock I used. Do you have any dust covers for the electric motors? It seems it would require one because having the chain and gear exposed would seem like a safety issue. Do you know if it requires one? Do you also have the dimensions of the battery box? Any help is appreciated.

thanks

Robert

My stuff is made like original part.
I've had battery box copied also...but would cost to much for shop to make just one.
