Re: My evolution of my M998
ok a while back I was doing a welding task and I forgot to cover up my mirrors
and they got weld splatter and burned the lens. So I'm looking for replacements. They are the square version anyone have a set? I just need the mirrors without brackets.

Re: My evolution of my M998
I finally ordered the floor directional vent and dash close out panel. Thanks to Jason for provider the supplier, MacMotors.

For the side A/C vent after cutting the hole I had a to anchor to the top screw of the windshield frame. For some reason it would line up with the middle screw from what I seen it should. Then the dash close out panel did not align correct with the brake pedal. It seemed to far to the left. I had to trim some of the plastics around the brake pedal in order for the panel to align with the front bottom part of the dash. If fact it makes it much easier to remove if I needed to. I read that this panel can be a pain in the ass to remove and replace for maintenance. So by trimming out the brake pedal area it just slide in and out.

I had to relocated my rear winch control plug from the side of the dash into the dash next to light switch gauge in order to get my side vent to route correctly. I also had to relocate my aux toggle switch that powers my gps, crash camera and external power above the winch plug next to the air cleaner gauge.

It turned out really nice and I've always wanted to add the close out panel but wasn't happy with the price but really got me motivated is the side A/C vent. I cant believe I didn't know about this so the heck with it I bought both and again tuned out nice.

Re: My evolution of my M998
thanks George,
I'm trying to keep this old 86 with the newer type options. Next is cable tv! Wait my iPad has that already in the BFT case

Like the movie, no country of old men.
