Post by jrlatt » Mon Nov 23, 2020 9:06 pm

Hello all

I was wondering what seat recommendations there is out there. The springs in my seats are not the best. I am looking for options.

Your only other option is high density foam affixed to a plywood base. I would suggest doing anything and everything to save the original seat bottom springs. They give a far better ride and will last far longer than the high density foam bottoms sold be a couple of suppliers.

Hello

Thanks for the reply. Do you have a recommendation on some seat covers? I have looked at a few websites
like https://www.dlbensinger.com/shop/mm-seat-cushion-set/ The pictures are not there or very hard to tell what you are paying for. I have thought about putting in some forklift seats. They have seat belts attached, and I would not have to make any modification to the tub other than maybe a bolt hole. The backrest are bolted in so could be removed and reinstalled.
