Hoping to the modified mite done by summer’s end, so I can switch my efforts back to the body on the restoration mite.
A couple shots of the work in progress. VW 1.9 diesel, several adapters for jeep trans & dana 18 running gear, Toyota steering box. Next milestone is mapping out the cooling and steering hoses & engine wiring. There are compromises; steep rear driveshaft angles needed double ended CVs, radiator is 3 core 2-pass, but limited in overall size, front diff is now carried on front and rear mounts.

Vehicross,
Yes, its all 12 volts now due to glow plugs, starter, cooling fans.
I converted the military dash lights to 12v LEDs.
It's still running 2 batteries with charging combiner. 1 is a dedicated for the starter.
