Post by Dushy » Sun Aug 30, 2020 5:43 am

Hi
I have Prestolite Spark Plugs Installed in my Willys MB 1943.
I was wondering if NGK Iridium Spark Plugs will help enhance the Firing, Combustion and Smootness of the Engie ?
Many Thanks

????
Try them and see what you think.
Spark plugs come in different flavors.
Resistor type. Non-resistor type. Platinum. Iridium. etc.
AC. Autolite. Motorcraft. Champion. NGK.
Comes down to what you like.
Let us know how the test turns out.

Probably not worth the extra cost due to the amount of fouling typical after 6,000 miles which usually requires replacement or heavy cleaning of the plugs.

I dont think you will notice any difference. iridium plugs are good if you plan to leave them in for 100K miles, thats about it.
