A few details of the body at the beginning of the restoration. Bubba had been busy cutting it in two and reweld it back together. The car stereo must have been a very classy addition...!

Resurrection
Resurrection.
Back to the way it should look like.
First things first. After some major surgery that involved re-cutting and reattaching the Bubbized side panels, the body was placed on a jig to replace the rear floor and wheelhouses. The rear panel is a Dallas Auto commercial replacement that fit in nicely while the rest of the panels was made by a friend. Nice overall look of the repairs...
Back to the way it should look like.

Rear right hand corner. Fast forward! Here is a glimpse of the final result! from now on I will be posting before and after photos of the various repairs and the way they look when finished (or very closed to be completed)...

Interesting discussion point: Looks like this body was assembled skipping the phase when the holes for the junction block and the wiring clip are bored. No big deal as three new holes were promptly done by someone along the production line... with a punch and Parker screws were fitted to keep the accessories in place.
