i have made no changes to steering, pedals, seat....

only thing is different from original is the padding, about 2" of foam.

When driving screen up, i'm looking right at the upper windschreen tube
:D
i have to stretch my neck and look over it
shrink and look through the glass.....

or, most of the time, when weather allows the windscreen is down... when weather doesn't allow, i'm in the passenger seat with the boot on the fender :D

Remko, same for me!

MINNHAWK

Thanks for posting your pictures on how you gave yourself more room behind the steering wheel. This seems a lot easier than cutting the steering wheel column.
Why did you bolt the seat to the fender well? Extra support?

Looks like the links on this thread are out of date and broken. I believe this is the updated version of the seat conversion link.

Does not dbj sell the seat already modified? It does make it tougher to get in and out of the jeep with the seat back further, I would of modified the body side too if the jeep was not painted. Also seemed like the seat cushion did not fit right, I still need a cushin like 4 inches longer to fit the seat, use a blanket for now, However i did not buy a kit or anything as this was done years ago.
