Posting Pictures

Post by Bruce W » Fri Jan 01, 2021 11:46 am

I know it can be done, because I see pictures on this forum. But a lot of folks say “I can’t post pictures” and sometimes others offer to post them for them. I don’t want to impose on others. So can someone explain how it is done? I plan to offer my slat-grill for sale and I’m sure pictures will be asked for.

at the bottom of a new post click on attachments and go from there, you must resize them to about 200k, if on a windows computer open them with paint and click on resize,.

Or you can use a site like www.imgur.com and upload them there. Once uploaded, imgur will provide you with a "BB Code" link you can paste into the post which will link to their website and show the picture in the post. No resizing required.

Thanks for the tip. Still don't have a real grasp on the procedure and nomenclature (not computer literate), but I was able to post this photo.
This photo was taken in 2009 at the Medford, Oregon Rod and Custom Show. The ambjeep won one of the five awards given out. There were approximately 200 custom cars in the show.

The jeep is now in possession of the National Museum of the Marine Corps, Triangle, VA and displayed each February to help commemorate the Invasion of Iwo Jima of which the jeep took part in.
