Re: Pop Up Ads From Hell!!!
I'm on a PC now, still one normal size at the top, one at the bottom, there is one in the middle now that this thread is long enough. but none of them are popups, they are just inline with posts. looks just like it has been for the last several years.

Re: Pop up Ads
Hi,
I usually browse on a iPad and the ads started a couple of days ago and are driving me nuts.
Anybody know how I can get rid of them before I have to browse ‘elsewhere’?

Re: Pop up Ads
I getting the pop up adds after each segment, been Xing them out but they come back, sometimes there is more adds than info.
Maybe it's a virus or something as I had similar stuff on other sites, then I'd get a virus from them. The last couple of weeks have been getting alot

I doubt it's a virus. I just hit reply and had a full screen one pop up. I think somebody just needs to pay their bills haha

Re: Pop up Ads
Sounds like TV ads and me hitting the mute button on the remote.
I can only handle " CALL NOW !!!" after I have had some phone # repeated 3 or more times or " You have probably heard this before ", for a short period of time.
I know when I have hit my limit. The little Mrs. starts barking at me.

Re: Pop Up Ads From Hell!!!
I'm seeing more and more huge ads and even between posts. I don't remember seeing them this bad before. Some are calling them pop ups but they are page ads. Pop ups open in their own window usually much smaller.

What is with the huge, almost full page Pop up ads???
And a lot have nothing to do with a WW2 jeep.
Seems to be more ads than forum, now

Re: Pop up Ads
On TV, you generally see 22 minutes of "program" and 8 minutes of non-program ads, station IDs, etc. per each 30 minute program.
We are on just about a par with that in terms of "non-program" ads on the gee right now.

Re: Pop Up Ads From Hell!!!
Maybe start with "WAR THUNDER" and send the game company that makes that game a note explaining that the G503 is a military vehicle website in which the average age of the members is a LONG way from their teenage years or even their 20s....I'll bet that less than 10-15% of the members evn own a game console....
They are WASTING their time and pissing off so many members that THIS game would be the very LAST one they would purchase for a kid who is into "gaming".

Re: Pop up Ads
Not sure if it's related at all, but I've been having to log on every time I go back from my phone. Used to be it stayed loged on until I closed the window.
