Without going into details is it possible for a G-member to somehow block or stop seeing posts from another member ?

Yes.
On the line below the title is another line.
It begins with "by" and then there is a member name.
If that name is the one you are concerned about, do not click on the post.
Very simple process, but it does require action (or more precisely - no action) on your part.

Well, GUNNUT is not wrong.
But you can also go into your user control panel and play around with the "Friend and Foe" tab.
