Hi Marion..

This should help..

http://www.g503.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=16916

As mentioned, photos need to be on a "hosted" website and not just on your pc..

Cheers.. :)

Hello, The way I do it is to host pictures on Photobucket.com. It is a free hosting site. First, save a picture to your computer (you probably already have done that) Second, go to photobucket and register. Third, when you log on to photobucket, you will find a place that says "upload Image" Fourth, just below and to the right, click "Choose file". Fifth, browse your files and find your picture and open the file. Sixth, your picture opens in Photobucket and shows "tags and descriptions". Above the picture, click "skip this step now". Sixth, your picture is now in photobucket ready to post on any web site you wish. Seven, if you are posting on a g503 forum, log on to Photobucket, find your picture and click "IMG code" which is under the picture. this will automatically copy your picture. Eight, now, go to g503.com, write your post then press "control V" (Ctrl V) on your keyboard. This will automatically place your image in your post.
It's a lot easier than it sounds at first, but try it, it works great.

Well, it seems the method for posting a photo has changed since I last posted one. I used to upload a photo to http://www.surfacezero.com/g503/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. I would then look at the photo, copy its location, then paste that location in my draft post on G503.

But now the photo location is truncated rather than complete. I don't know why that happens. So now the photo does NOT appear in the post (as it used to do with a full location description). Now, only the truncated photo location now appears in my post, as seen here:

http://web.g503.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=164266" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

So, could some kind soul please post the KEY STROKES that I need to type onto my keyboard to post a photo inside a new post? Or describe for me in baby steps exactly how to post a photo today?

I also tried to "upload" a photos directly into the post using the little box at the bottom of the drafting post place, but that did not work either.

Thank you in advance.

Not necessarily.

When you compile a message have a look under the text box.
Upload Attachment - Browse . find where it's located in your computer and Tadahhhhhh.
And if the photo is a reasonable size. say 950 pix wide, it will be seen in it's entirety .

Try it and see.
