Flame Thrower M2-2 Display Wand

Post by cshobson » Sat Jan 13, 2018 8:32 am

Been a few years since I was active, if you want to see why go to flamethrowerexpert.com.

So lots has happened, new shop and now caught with fixing up garage and completion of private museum. I now have every model and variation of US Model flame throwers in firing condition. Also have three reproduction German F41's of WWII just for reenactments and shows.

For live fire I will be adding Findley Ohio as last years test was very successful. We will fire the Auxiliary M3 on a Vietnam Gun Truck and the M2-2 USMC .
Stuff for sale is now the M2-2 Display wand, very solid on steel skeleton and aluminum grips front and rear. Listed on Gunbroker.com and parts on Ebay.

I will now post regularly and answer question like in the past. I do have most parts and will buy what you have or trade for what you need. As far as I know I am the only person the movie companies and military museums accept for hydro testing and training. If you would like to get you flame thrower working safely shoot me and email or post here.

I'm back into reenacting in the Northeast so see you there.

Hi Charley
Nice to see you around again.
You looked at my M9 tank set many moons ago and rebuilt my regulator.
I still need a wand for it.
However finding a M7 wand as you know is next to impossible.
I would settle for a M2 wand or anything that will work for it.
I did find a brand new M2 front end missing everything else.
Do you have any complete wands that would work with my tank set?
Thanks
UC

Charley,

Have you ever had an opportunity to test any of the modern commercial units being sold and can you make any recommendations? Thank you

I haven't seen first hand or tested any of the new ones. They are generating interest to pass laws against flame thrower in many states. I do know that the law will be coming in NY and there is interest in a federal legislation, it has been proposed. However, all flame throwers over fifty years old will be exempt. There will also be a provision for the movie industry, already regulated via Dept of Labor in NY.

I do have an Ag/Forestry wand, they are described on my website. You would still need to have me Hydro Test your tanks and then assembly and test fire. You do have a law on the books in California that you need to register your flame thrower with the state fire dept.
I hesitate to post the price of the wand but I would give you a discount with the testing. If you commit before February, I would do the testing free and charge only parts and shipping. Email me at flamethrowerexpert at yahoo dot com. We can exchange emails and phone numbers.

Good to hear from you,
