Hi,

Can you post or email to me a photo of the frame serial number stamping ? Also one of the data plate if there is one.

This GPW should be from mid Nov. 42. Is there a BODL switch in the upper left han corner of the dash ? Is the gas tank / driver's seat small mouth or big mouth ?

The gas tank is a later replacement ,and the seat pan is modified, there are welded up holes from the blackout lite that was on the left front fender and a hole in the dash for the switch, the ford data plate is missing

Hi hatchetdan,

Thanks for the photos!!!

From my GPW studies and databases, your GPW 78895 should have come from the Dallas, Tx. assembly plant on about - wait for it..... Wednesday Nov. 11, '42.

Thanks!

The switch with the round white knob should be in the original BODL switch hole. If you pull the switch the hole should be flat on the bottom side.
