Ummm... Not quite sure. I've been doing LOTS of research on this and found a few pics that may repudiate this.
Mike,
If you get a chance can you provide some more insight?

What are the measurements? Is it black or green?

Original wiper blades in the box 2ea. Now I need to source the two handles. These should fit nicely on my VEP.

Yes, that's identical to the one on 6008.

Oz, if you have to go with a resleeve, White Post Restorations in VA does a really nice job on these, it's one of the areas they specialize in. Not cheap, but hey it is the brakes...

Tractor12 sent some images of his VEP Ford to post. Here is the illusive early pancake air filter with and F marked air horn. Note the welded reinforcement washer under the wing nut, otherwise at profile it looks identical to the carburetor air horn.

Mark,
Can you post the dimensions of the reinforcing washer, ID, OD and thickness with a micrometer if able?

I have a question. Did the VEP GPW have an air horn on the carb that matched the pancake air filter? The reason I ask is my fairly complete GPW 1871 has the original reinforced air horn on the pancake air filter and the reinforced circle on the carburetor air horn as well. Both are F marked.

I am not sure what the air horn on the carb is supposed to look like. Unsure if it is supposed to have the reinforcement also.

Both air horns have a reinforcing disc but only the air filter one is drilled for a stud.
