Tuesday 12 September: MOVE IN AND SET UP CAMP
Wednesday 13 September: ROAD TRIP EVENT: Convoy less traveled roads.
BYO snacks or lunch and beverage. Line up at 1100.
Thursday 14 September: OFF-ROAD DRIVING CHALLENGE: Convoy to the Clay Pits OHV Park and Range to navigate trails and hills and view a display of classic firearms. BYO snacks or lunch and beverage. Line up at 1100.
Friday 15 September: BIG CONVOY DAY: Drive scenic back roads to visit nature preserves, historic sites. Lunch stop at a drive-in. Line up at 1100.
Saturday 16September: LIVING HISTORY DAY: Your vehicle and display will be open to the public 1100 to 1500.Vehicle Pass-In-Review at 1400.CATERED DINNER at 1600,Cost $10.00, BYO beverage Awards at 1700.
Sunday 17 September: BREAK CAMP AND MOVE OUT
Tent, Display and Vendor Sites Cost Only $15.00 Per Night

SAME CLEAN RESTROOMS AND SHOWER FACILITIES

Hookup Sites Cost Only $30.00 Per Night

Camp Gridley Committee
Cary Simpson will be the NRG Point of Contact (POC) for the Entire Camp Gridley Event. Cary will be the Operations Officer responsible for all planning, events, awards, organization, and activities at Camp Gridley.
Fred Kennedy will be the NRG Point of Contact (POC) for the NRG Table at Camp Gridley. Fred will be responsible for our NRG/Hospitality Table at Camp Gridley to collect camping fees. This table will be located in the center of activities for all of our NRG members to sit down and take a break. The NRG Trustees (Fred Kennedy, Brian Piper, and Sean Farley) will have all of our promotional items available each day. Volunteers will be needed to make sure all of our promotional items are secure and be available to answer questions about the NRG during Camp Gridley.
Rory Burke will be the NRG Point of Contact (POC) for the NRG Signs and Sign Displays at Camp Gridley. Rory has dedicated his expertise in making one-of-a-kind signs for the Northern Recon Group. Yes, Rory has personally designed and hand-made the very powerful and professional signs that will be on display. Rory has paid for all of the materials and used his own personal equipment and time to create these very wonderful works of art. Thank you Rory Burke!
Rick Farley will be the Aircraft Coordinator for Living History Displays at Camp Gridley. Rick will organize the display of helicopters or other display aircraft.
Dave Palmerlee will be the Convoy Commander on Wednesday from Camp Gridley. Wednesday 13 September: ROAD TRIP EVENT: Convoy less traveled roads. BYO snacks or lunch and beverage and line up at 1100 hours. Dave will organize and lead the convoy out to visit the Sutter Buttes that will include scenic stops.
Ed Schommer will be the Convoy Commander on Thursday to the Clay Pits from Camp Gridley. Thursday 14 September: OFF-ROAD DRIVING CHALLENGE: Convoy to the Clay Pits OHV Park and Range to navigate trails and hills and view a display of classic firearms. BYO snacks or lunch and beverage and line up at 1100 hours. Ed will organize and lead the convoy out to the Clay Pits on Thursday that will include scenic stop’s, amphibious vehicle rides (NRG Flotilla- LCVP, DUKW, Weasel, etc.) in the Oroville After Bay, and Historic Firearms Display.

Bill Campbell will be the Convoy Commander on Friday from Camp Gridley. Friday 15 September: BIG CONVOY DAY: Drive scenic back roads to visit nature preserves, historic sites. Lunch stop at a drive-in. Line up at 1100 hours. Bill will organize and lead the convoy out to visit rice farming on Friday that will include scenic stops, amphibious vehicle rides (NRG Flotilla) in the Oroville after Bay, and Historic Firearms Display.Bruce Hrabak will be the NRG Point of Contact (POC) for the Living History Displays at Camp Gridley. Saturday 16 September: LIVING HISTORY DAY: Your vehicle and display will be open to the public 1100 to 1500 hours with a vehicle Pass-In-Review at 1400 hours. CATERED DINNER at 1600 hours, Cost $10.00, BYO beverage. Three display areas will be set up covering World War II/Korea, Vietnam, and Current Day military. Volunteers are needed to dress in period uniforms to assist with the displays.
Floyd Jones, NRG President. Attend the Northern Recon Group MEETING at 1700 hours Saturday, as all members and guests are welcomed.
Dave Palmerlee will be the POC) for Evening Outdoor Entertainment/Movies. Please contact Dave (530) 679-2424 if you have any requests for movies around the fire pit.
Chuck Ouimette will be the Vendor Coordinator. Chuck will invite and help set up vendor sales areas.
Rick Farley and Cary Simpson will be the Media Coordinators that will coordinate local news stations to arrive on Friday before the convoy departs at 1100 hours for interviews and then video the vehicles departing. Saturday at Camp Gridley is the Living History Day that will be open to the public.
Judy Wurm and Floyd Jones will be the Meal Coordinators and coordinate the Saturday evening meal for all members and guests.

Volunteers are still needed to assist with all operations. Please consider helping with at least one of the events listed above
