I need to quit whining, you all will think that is all I can do. But, sense a few have asked I will list a few of the personal e-mails that I have been getting over several...SEVERAL MONTHS. The only reason I started this thread was because I knew you guys/galls would help me see if this last one was real or not. It was real and everything worked out great. Thanks for the help in confirming authenticity of those pictures.

Here is some of the bad e-mails I have been getting (I'm not sure all are bad. There might be a lead for someone but I didn't dare!)

Note they are ALL G-mail addresses too, kind of strange to have only G-mail accounts replying, likely multiple accounts for the same person trying for your funds.
Just a thought.

Well you were smart one,
I would never send money as "family friend" for stuff more then
$50 ."Goods and services" via PayPal has buyers protection.
Thanks for sharing the scammers info.

Indeed all are overseas wannabe scam artists. Poor English grammar and typical wire transfer requirement. The grey gen-set is actually mine, and is sitting in my shop.

The green one was purchased on ebay around 2009 by another G member. Looks like I'll have to start watermarking photos of high value items before posting them.

There are a lot of generator photos out there already, so I'm not sure how much that will help Farrell.

I have bought generators far away by using someone I know to stop by and look to see if it is a scam or not. Bill H picked up one in Bakersfield for me like that.

Bullard, TX 75757 is 138 miles from me... maybe closer to someone else. That is less that $20 in gas for my Focus there and back. What I'm saying is we all can help each other out for some of these high ticket items.

I know some of you are tearing your hair out finding a generator... it really wasn't any easier finding one 10-15 years ago, just cheaper. :| :|

I have a radio jeep generator for sale, this has a Willys plate as well as an Autolite plate. It is 12 volt, has regulator, cover and cast base. Please let me know if anybody is looking for one. I have photos, but was not able to attach them.

Do you have any other way to send pictures to an e-mail or something? What would be your asking price?
